Some set of people jump to the road to force some vehicles or even motorcyclists to pay N1500 for a sticker they gum forcefully on such vehicle/motor bike. They call it different names like emissions or other names. They are never receipted and if you ask for their id card, they become ange. The amount quoted on such stickers are lower than the amount they forcefully collect. How do we know if these set of people are recognized by the State especially where they can’t issue receipt on any payments made ro them.
So sorry for the disruption to your activities. Kindly note that approved mode of collection must be backed by government-issued receipts and also they must be able to provide Identity when requested. Anything contrary to this, kinldy report to the nearest police station or contact the State Government through the revenue officials at the State Secretariat. Thank You
